Basic Instincts.

White cat with black patch on side, stuck up a tree, Words say: Instinctively - not always the best way.

Do I trust my instincts?

I have prophetic dreams: dreams that forewarn of something bad happening. I’m never directly involved and the events are generally on a pretty large scale, so I’d have to say there’s ‘something’ to this basic instinct thing.

Maybe some day I’ll blog about my dreams, if anyone’s interested. They are totally freaky, I have to say.

So again – so I trust my instincts?

Here’s the thing – I wouldn’t chance acting against them, that’s for sure. But how does anyone know that trusting and acting in accordance with their instincts is actually the right thing to do?

I mean, whether one does or does not, the alternative belongs in an alternative state and so the repercussions of doing the opposite to what is opted for will never be known. Perhaps going against the grain would lead to an even better ultimate outcome? Who knows?

Who cares?

Nobody will ever know.

I’m not sure I’ve demonstrated my reasoning of this too well! I knew instinctively when I saw this subject heading that I should miss out on posting today – I’d only get myself in a fankle trying to put my thoughts down in written form.

Perhaps I should have trusted my instincts.

😉
