I can’t think of anything to say today. Nothing meaningful, at any rate. It doesn’t happen very often as I’m usually a gobby wee s***e, but when it does, I’ll normally refer to the WordPress Dailyprompt for inspiration.

Lately though, those prompts have been quite ‘serious’ in their nature.

There’s nothing wrong in that, of course – blogging takes many forms and is a cathartic outlet for all sorts of emotions.

I’m fine with reading the concerns and rants of others, because I’m also a nosey, gobby wee s***e. However, it’s not really for me, pouring my heart out onto a laptop screen. Not that I really have anything ‘serious’ to say. See, I know I’m lucky, and I’m really a happy, gobby, nosey wee s***e.

So today, I’m kinda opting out and plan, after work, to spend some time on one of my books.

Yeah – get me! ‘One of my books.’

Yes, I’m a gobby, nosey, happy, cocky wee s***e.

But I am who I am, and I’m comfortable in this skin. I’m changing for no-one. I’m proud of who I’ve become: a gobby, nosey, happy, cocky, proud wee s***e.

Yet, all people see is a polite, daft, music-loving, sporty, fit but knocking on a bit, little man. They don’t look behind the mask.

So I guess that makes me a misunderstood, gobby, nosey, happy, cocky, proud wee s***e.

No – wait. Hold on a tick! I’ve just noticed what I’ve done, with today’s prompt being about ‘something most people don’t understand.’

Aye – now you’re thinking, ‘he’s a misunderstood, gobby, nosey, happy, cocky, proud wee, smartass s***e.

Maybe you’re right.
