Hey! I’m not going far. And I certainly don’t have designs on moving to another spiritual plane. Not even temporarily. Not again.

I’ll still be around, chipping in with comments on other posts and very likely popping up now and again with some random posts of my own.

But over the next month or two I feel I need to concentrate on moving at least one of my WIPs forward. (Yeah – I have three books I’m working on – talk about biting off m,ore than you can chew?!)

Admittedly, one has only just been started (while the idea was still ‘hot.’) Another is about a third way through the story, the three groups of characters preparing to head into the mountains. They’ve been in a state of limbo now for several months, and must be getting a tad bored, as well as wondering what’s to become of them. I really should give them something to fill their days.

I have a few short chapters to write in completing the third book, and the one I hope to release in the summer. It’s a sort of off-beat memoir of growing up in the 1960s and ’70s.

I’ll confirm the title in a couple of weeks.

Right now though, I’m preparing to ‘go it alone,’ so far as the marketing and publicity goes. Getting word ‘out there’ before and later, upon release, is proving quite a challenge. Certainly when there’s a limited budget to play with.

Shortly, I’ll begin the tedious graft of editing and then the absolute nightmare (for me) of formatting the book for publication. All of which means I’m not likely to have much time at my disposal for ‘Daily Prompt’ type posts. (They’ve been quite ‘serious’ in nature recently, don’t you think? Not really a good fit for my blog, which I aim to keep light in nature … unless I’m off in one of my random rants, that is. 😉 )

So there you go. That’s what I’ll be doing / where I’ll be in the coming months.

As far as blogging goes, I’ll likely be reading more than writing, but I’ll certainly blog my progress for anyone who may be remotely interested.
