A SPACE HOPPER KILLED MY HAMSTER … amusing tales of growing up in the ’60s & ’70s

Done! 🙂

THIS is the reason I’ve been so quiet / missing in Blogland these past few months. My new book has been designed, formatted and uploaded to Amazon, ready for publication this coming Friday, 4th July.

I’ll no doubt have a bit more on this (you bet I will 😀 ) later in the week, but right now, here’s the Amazon blurb, for what it’s worth.

Author, Cee Tee Jackson, grew up in the UK during the 1960s & 1970s, after which, according to his wife, he became stuck in a time warp. He has since shown little further sign of ‘growing up.’

There is a general feeling that of the two decades, one was bright and exciting, while the other was gloomy and dour; that the ’60s offered more freedom and joyous optimism, while the ’70s, despite the vibrant music scene, was mired in human conflict plus industrial and political discord.

Cee Tee recalls both periods with equal fondness – perhaps because he wears rose-tinted glasses. In his latest book, ‘A SPACE HOPPER KILLED MY HAMSTER … amusing tales of growing up in the ’60s & ’70s’ he shares his recollections of that time in a humorous, personable and engaging manner.

The book is a collection of lighthearted reads, reflecting schoolday memories, family life and daily life from that period.

From spam to glam; from hair to flares, ‘A SPACE HOPPER KILLED MY HAMSTER …’ is about how we lived, what we loved, what we learned and what made us laugh in the 1960s and 1970s.

Be you a child of The Sixties, The Seventies, or simply a reader curious of that time; whether your childhood was spent in Scotland, the wider UK or the western world in general, A SPACE HOPPER KILLED MY HAMSTER …’ will be sure to brighten your day.

***If any of my author / blogger friends would be able to help spread the word, please leave a note in the Comments section. If you’d be willing to review the book, again, please comment and I’ll arrange for a Kindle edition to be sent over the weekend of the release date. 🙂 ***
