In an ideal world, there would be a football stadium named after me here in Scotland, to acknowledge my success as a player. But sadly I had no success, and therefore no such stadium exists.
I had hoped then perhaps an athletics stadium, either indoor or outdoor (I wouldn’t be too difficult to deal with) could have been built in honour of my success as a runner. However, it seems a bronze medal in the Scottish Medley Relay Championships during the mid-Eighties doesn’t cut much favour these days, and so again, no such athletics track exists.
I’m grasping at straws now. Maybe a library? I’ve written three books. Have I mentioned that before? 😉
Ah – I’d have to sell in excess of a thousand copies before even being considered? What? A million, you said? At least?
And there’s already a huge library here in Glasgow – The Mitchell Library – named after the tobacco manufacturer who bequeathed a substantial amount for its funding.
Oh well, I guess I’ll just have to try and convince everyone the glass cleaning spray I saw in Goa, India was named after me.
In honour of my sticky fingers perhaps?

Colin 😄 Such a nice name. You are right, in India we use it to clean glasses and rough surfaces. You have a terrific sense of humour I must say 👍🏼😄
