Today’s word was ‘bath.’

A CHILLING LIMERICK.

Dave ran his wife a quick, but deep bath.
Then simply and purely and just for a laugh,
He said it was hot
It quite plainly was not –
Yep, Dave’s a complete psychopath.

    • Thanks Esther. I think with limericks, it’s the ideas that come in a flash and without too much thinking that work best. If a limerick is ‘over-thought’ it loses spontaneity and the humour can seem forced. (See many others on this very site for examples!) 😀
